Sugar Scrubs vs Salt Bars

Sugar Scrubs vs Salt Bars

Since the launch of our new Body Polish Sugar Scrubs and Salt Spa Bars, the most common question I get asked is:

"What's the difference between the Sugar Scrubs and the Salt Bars?"

Sugar scrubs are the more gentle of the two. The fine-grain sugar provides a gentle exfoliation that can be used anywhere on the body, even freshly-shaved areas. Our Body Polish sugar scrub has a soft lather to cleanse your skin while exfoliating to reveal fresh, glowing skin, and your skin feels absolutely amazing when you rinse it off.

Salt Bars are more robust, with a mild and creamy lather that's different from our usual fluffy soap bar lather. Salt bars are good for rougher or dryer skin, such as elbows and knees. Sea Salt is a natural humectant, meaning it draws moisture to the skin. However, due to the nature of salt we do not recommend using the Salt Spa Bars on freshly shaved or very sensitive skin.
